What we are looking for:
Technical Professionals Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented OIS Management Representative to support the Safety Department for a large copper mining company in Kearny, AZ. This role will focus on document management, change control, and procedural oversight. The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative experience, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing key documentation systems related to safety and operational integrity.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Operational Integrity System (OIS),
- Assist with the integration of AHS (Automated Handling System) procedures into site protocols and ensure proper follow-through in the MOC process.
- Draft, proofread, and distribute clear, professional documentation and emails.
- Maintain document control systems and ensure accuracy, version control, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Support audits and compliance initiatives related to ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management).
- Provide administrative support to the safety and compliance team, including meeting coordination, reporting, and recordkeeping.
- Follow up on outstanding action items and ensure deadlines are met across departments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure communication and document flow are seamless and effective.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with document control systems or platforms preferred
- Strong writing and communication skills; able to draft professional correspondence and documentation
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards a plus
- Experience in a safety, quality, or operations-focused environment is an advantage
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks independently
- Must have a valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- MSHA certification will be required to obtain upon hire
