Job Title: Housekeeping (Part-Time)
Location: LaMarr Civic Center, Eufaula, AL
Salary: $10 p/hr.
Experience: At least 3 years experience in housekeeping
Education: A minimum of a high school diploma
Overall Description: Under the direction of the owners, Event Manager, and Assistant Event Manager, perform the full range of housekeeping duties as they relate to the care, maintenance and cleaning of assigned buildings and facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic housekeeping duties includes restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after events and end of day
- Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service
- Report cases of property damage in commercial spaces to supervisor
- Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift
- Maintain a positive relationship with employees and guests
- Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies
- Report any housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glass
- Collect and remove trash and debris
- Assist with laundry/preparation of table cloths
- Report, turn in and log all lost and found items
- Clean upholstered furniture
- Perform detailed deep cleans when required
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in house keeping or in a similar role
- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness
- Very good physical condition and strength
- Varied work hours are a requirement for this position to support various events.
