Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Control Panel Technician for our client in the Pittsburgh area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and wiring control panels according to specifications and electrical schematics. This role requires hands-on experience with electrical systems and wiring, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.Key Responsibilities : -Assemble and Wire Control Panels : Construct and wire electrical control panels in accordance with project specifications, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.-Install Components : Install electrical components such as relays, switches, circuit breakers, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and other devices into control panels.-Quality Control : Inspect wiring and components for accuracy and compliance with industry standards. Ensure proper connections and adherence to safety codes.-Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues during the assembly stages of the control panels.-Collaboration : Work with engineers and project managers to ensure that control panels meet design specifications and project requirements.-Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of wiring configurations, components used, and modifications made during the assembly process.-Safety Compliance : Follow all electrical safety standards and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.-Maintain Tools and Equipment : Keep workstations, tools, and equipment organized, clean, and in good working order.Qualifications : Education : -High school diploma or equivalent.
