What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Structural Engineer position at Technical Staffing Resources?
MUST HAVE Prior Lead Experience (not just senior level candidates)
These roles will be for several onshore projects starting with CP3 LNG and hopefully rolling into LC LNG.
Duration is 6 months plus, could extend out indefinity depending upon incoming projects.
Rate will likely be capped at around $90/hr.
- Responsible for design, specification, and services related to structures and foundations made of concrete, steel, wood, or engineered products for structures, platforms, bridges, pipe racks, buildings, etc.
- Under broad direction, supervises and leads a group of engineers.
- Provides technical direction over a group and is responsible for employee performance appraisals and coaching and developing lower-level professionals.
- Plans, budgets, organizes and controls an important segment of a very extensive and highly diversified engineering program or an entire engineering program of moderate scope.
- Job role is responsible for a measurable asset such as an assigned staff and budget.
- Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of related experience, with an average experience of 15 years.
- PE license preferred not required
- Prior LNG experience preferred as well.
