TSR is seeking a Piping Designer to work at an industrial facility in Fayetteville, NC . This is a long-term contract position with the possibility of being hired direct.
Job Description
- Design in Microstation and E3D. Will also use a full complement of Microsoft Office products.
- Work on 2D CAD drawings (piping diagrams, details, supports) as well as piping routing and design
- Assemble design packages (for piping / mechanical portion) including scope of work, transmittal, drawings, vendor information, and E3D generated bill of materials (pipe, pipe components, fasteners, gaskets, and pipe supports)
- The individual will work as part of a site design team to support ongoing minor projects (
- Annual site shutdown support during the month of October each year.
- This position will require direct contact with client technical, maintenance, and operations personnel, as well as outside contractors, vendors, and construction personnel.
