TSR is seeking a Piping Designer with to work with one of the largest EPC firms in the country. This is a long term contract position in Richmond, VA. Position will be onsite only with a flexible work schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Perform the necessary fieldwork, pulling measurements, locating tie-ins, as-building existing systems, develop detailed scopes.
- Work from P&ID's, client specifications and vendor data to design complex piping systems for chemical facility.
- Create isometrics, pipe supports
- Ensures that completed design is functional, maintainable and designed with safety and that all applicable codes have been followed and maintain
- Interface with other disciplines
