About the Job
The Construction Manager- will lead the construction activities including planning and budgeting during preliminary development and routing, permitting, acquisition, construction bidding, and through the construction to completion. This position interfaces with the project group including estimating, scheduling, project management, project engineering, quality control, and cost control on a regular basis. This role is responsible for construction metrics identification and monthly and yearly performance associate with field construction and schedule compliance. You will be a self-motivated construction professional with a minimum of ten years' experience in heavy industrial construction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Manage site logistics, including the delivery and storage of materials.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being carried out according to plans and specifications.
