Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team based in Claremont, CA. As a key member of the project task force team, you will work on technical and economic feasibility studies, licensed technology-based process design packages, and act as project lead for detailed engineering activities.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of ten years' experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing load summary, single lines, protection diagrams for MV & HV switchgear, motors/generators, transformers, and MCCs.
- Performing load flow, short circuit analysis, transient motor starting studies, harmonic analysis, protection relay setting calculations & coordination curves using ETAP and/or SKM software.
- Preparing electrical equipment specifications, data sheets, scope of work/work packages.
- Carrying out technical bid analysis and review of vendor drawings.
- Preparing substation equipment layouts, schematics & wiring drawings.
