What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Operations Continuous Improvement Lead position at TechnipFMC?

- Lead continuous improvement of best-in-class Project Management and Tendering processes, templates, and tools to improve project execution in operations and ensure they are fully adopted and followed by all process operators through documentation maintenance and training curriculums
- Lead continuous improvement of the global operations projects portfolio management system, including key milestones and performance metrics, projects review cycles, escalation process within operations and with Subsea GBU, risks management, project reporting, etc.
- Support continuous improvement of Global costing and tendering strategies through improved tendering practices, cost curve development
- Lead global and coordinate local improvement initiatives across Manufacturing functions
- Work with functional leaders in the plants to identify training needs, develop training materials and deliver training sessions to continuously increase project management competencies within REMS
- Liaison with other groups to ensure alignment of project management practices with Engineering and Global Sourcing & Procurement, as well as with the Subsea GBU (commercial and execution)
- Is the global business owner for the SAP PS (Project System) and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules for: define and document the system requirements to support the PMA processes effectively; coordinate any system development with IDS and coordinate system testing when needed; establish and lead a strong global network of SAP PS & SD super users in each plant; help users troubleshoot when required; collaborate with other global process SMEs and system super users in Planning, Finance, Engineering…
- Strengthen cooperation across diverse internal stakeholders, often managing conflicting interests and/or demanding customers
- Internal customers/stakeholders are located in all major TechnipFMC locations: USA, Brazil, Norway, UK, France, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Africa
- Motivated, self starter engaged by work in a dynamic and challenging project execution environment.
- Skills to lead by influence: present and promote your point of views and to influence others, in face-to-face and virtual situations
- Able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Project Management and Planning experience, understanding of Project Lifecycle and Value Stream Principles
- Well versed in Lean Principles and problem solving strategies, continuous process improvement and change management
- Experience in Process Documentation creation, revision and Training development
- Eager to collaborate with people all over the world across different disciplines (IT, Finance, Planning, Engineering…)
- Eager to work in a multicultural team, distributed across the operation plants globally (in multiple time zones)
- Able to work with a remote Manager and team, in autonomy, once direction and guidance on desired outcomes have been provided
- Bachelor degree in Operations Management, Project Management, Systems Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline.
- 7-10 years related work experience
- Project management experience in a manufacturing environment (planning, cost control, or work package/project management, project engineering...)
- Tender or Commercial Experience
- Experience with O&G product engineering and/or manufacturing, including knowledge of Subsea Production Systems such as Manifolds, Subsea trees and /or Control Systems equipment
- Experience working with PS and SD modules in SAP
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives
- English proficiency
