- Ensures that the package is mobilized, planned, organized, and executed in accordance with HSE, Quality, Technical, Schedule, Budget, Risk, Contract, and Project Strategy objectives and requirements.
- Ensures that engineering and requisitioning as well as procurement, manufacturing, subcontracting, expediting, associated testing, and logistics activities in assigned package are developed according to schedule, man/hours, equipment, budget, contractual specifications, project requirements, including constructability and installability.
- Leads the Package Team, organizes, and conducts Package Team meetings to monitor progress, identify issues and actions, and provide visibility of overall package status and package/project needs to the Package Team.
- Works with the Project Quality Manager (PQM) to ensure package deliverables meet quality requirements, and to address any quality matters throughout the package execution.
- Works with Project Engineering Manager (PEM), Sub-System Lead Engineer (SSLE), SIT Lead Engineer (SIT LE), Installation Lead Engineer (Installation LE), and PQM to ensure coordination of technical interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manages package budget, approves package related expenditures as authorized, and manages costs to meet budget commitments.
- Serves as the main point of contact for the package execution with the Client under the Project Manager guidance.
- Responsible for the delivery of the defined package deliverables under the Project Manager either to the final Client for EPC projects, or to the Project Operations Manager (POM) for iEPCI/EPCI projects for transportation and installation, ensuring the package deliverables fulfill the project and product requirements and satisfy stakeholder’s expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields required.
- Minimum5 years’ relevant experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, Offshore Installation and
- Experience in project execution, preferred in EPCI type of projects.
- Knowledge in Subsea Production System and/or Subsea Umbilical, Riser, and Flowline sub-systems.
- Demonstrates effective leadership ability within a matrixed team environment and contributes significantly to team performance by building robust relationships both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in project negotiations, multi-site interfaces of commercial management of contracts, supplier quality systems, and development and implementation of project management strategies.
- Ability to combine technical, commercial, and risk-based decision making to solve complex problems that often have multiple solutions with competing advantages and disadvantages.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and coaching and respond appropriately.
- Highly effective communication and PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Scheduling (P6/MS Project), and ERP products.
