Job Purpose
This Project Operations Engineer will develop and ensure implementation of Operation Execution Plan on a given project, in accordance with Industry and Company Standards, Project Execution Plan and Project Installation Procedures.
Job Description
- Reviews Offshore Works related operational procedures.
- Supports Project Operation Manager on operational procedures development within Project Execution Plan.
- Issues PO requisitions linked to Installation support.
- Checks material supply cycle adequacy with project schedule and budget constraints.
- Coordinates interfaces with Engineering Department.
- Ensures interface with OOS as point of contact.
- Follows up on asset preparation in connection with OOS point of contact.
- Assesses tests/documentation consistency with Client’s specifications.
- Ensures effective communication between OOS team and Project.
- Coordinates and optimizes mobilization et demobilization (construction, transport).
- Prepares, together with Project Operation Manager, Readiness Review before starting Marine Operations.
- Collects and prepares documentation for the « as built » dossier on the project.
- Attends HAZID and RA meetings and properly cascade information.
- Attends Engineering Review meetings and properly cascade information.
- Prepares documentation for Suppliers and Subcontractors selection.
- Attends meetings with Suppliers and Subcontractors in order to ensure their adequacy with Operational project needs.
- University degree in engineering
- 1 - 3 years of experience in Subsea Engineering or Ocean Engineering
- Must have offshore experience
- Possibly professional registration by Engineers institution, depending on local regulation
- Good knowledge on Techniques and Assets in Offshore Installation
- Good knowledge on issues and interfaces linked to Vessel mobilization
- Knowledge of discipline tools and procedures
- Fluency in professional English
- Good interpersonal skills
