Job Description
- Assembles and tests assemblies according to specifications. Master basic skills and some advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment in the area of expertise
- Completes required test documentation including test reports, failed test reports, and NCRs
- Cleans components after assembly according to FMCTI specifications and verbal/written instructions
- Uses material handling equipment to move parts, components, and sub-assemblies from one work or storage area to another as required
- Collects and inputs information in specific systems for cost-tracking purposes
- Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in the work area
- Assists more experienced Assembly Technicians as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma
- Up to 2 years of experience in field
- Proficiency in reading drawings and technical documentation in assembly
- Knowledge/use of complex equipment and techniques (e.g. FAT, Gas testing, etc.)
