SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Financial Planning & Analysis Lead is responsible for driving the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes. This role ensures financial integrity and promotes cost efficiencies. The Financial Planning & Analysis Lead will work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives, optimize costs, and support informed decision-making.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Help develop and implement cost control measures to improve overall profitability.
- Analyze finances to support operational decisions and reduce costs.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects, providing financial expertise to support company objectives.
- Make sure to provide accurate and timely financial reports that comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze costs associated with Corporate SG&A to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Facilitate the creation and execution of financial strategies and operating plans that align with corporate objectives and operational goals.
- Work with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure compliance with financial controls and standards.
- Collaborate closely with business finance teams, procurement, supply chain, operations, and other departments to align financial practices with the needs of the business.
- Offer financial guidance and support to management teams to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Assess and identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure that financial controls and processes are strong and comply with company standards to protect assets.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
- At least 5 years of finance experience, including 3 years in financial planning and analysis or operations finance within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating a proven ability to drive cost efficiencies and support financial planning.
- Strong financial analysis, modeling, and reporting capabilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
- Expertise in financial software and ERP systems, such as Plex and IQMS.
- Understanding relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- A proactive and results-driven approach combined with a strategic mindset.
