JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- This role is responsible for maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing product shipments.
- Duties include unloading delivery trucks and checking incoming shipments against product invoices, organizing and storing shipments, receiving outgoing order requests, and notifying management personnel when they don’t have enough of a particular product to fulfill orders.
- Works with Shipping & Receiving Supervisor and Quality to sample incoming Raw Materials.
- Properly accounts for the location of incoming goods.
- Assures no damaged items are sent or received.
- Compares packing lists to company purchase orders and ensures that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
- Collaborates with multiple departments to develop and maintain a shipping/receiving schedule.
- Updates the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory accurately.
- Packages products for return to vendors and fills out any paperwork as required.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date warehouse inventory in an Excel Spreadsheet.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of related experience is required.
- Several years of previous warehouse experience with a Tier 1 auto supplier preferred.
- Must have a good understanding of warehouse safety regulations, physical dexterity, and experience operating forklifts.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of various data entry and inventory software programs.
- Ability to drive a forklift required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to lift, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, reach, climb, crawl, and carry.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions.
