In this role, you will be working as a Cost Estimator for a client that works in the manufacturing industry. This position will be responsible for developing cost estimates for manufactured products.
This position is a direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
- 5 years of experience doing cost estimation within a manufacturing environment
- Responsible for working with sales and engineering to gather project specifications and develop cost estimates for materials, labor etc..
- Able to interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate cost projections
- Maintain cost database
- Ability to analyze variance reports comparing estimated costs versus actual production costs
- MS office and ERP system experience preferred
