As an Electrical Field Service Tech you will be installing, servicing, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems in commercial facilities in GA, NC, SC, TN and AL. A company vehicle, fuel card, phone, and tablet are provided and accommodations for overnight as needed. You will handle documentation for the labor and materials provided specific to each assignment and explain to the client what is needed. You will order supplies from vendors through purchase orders and reconcile purchases for the work orders.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and or Trade School certificates
- 5-10 years of experience in industrial and commercial electrical industry
- Proficient experience working with troubleshooting and repair switchgear, light fixtures, electrical systems, etc.
- Proficient with running conduit and wire, installing panels, and wiring up electrical equipment
- Experience including disassembling and reassembling medium commercial equipment
- Experience with Motor and lighting controls is preferred
- Experience including operating hand tools, power tools, measuring tools in the diagnosis and repair of equipment and mechanical systems
- Must be able to work safely and independently
- Must be professional
