In this role as a Customer Field Service Tech, you will be working for a client that manufactures centerless grinders for a variety of industries including aerospace.This position will be responsible for part print and tooling verification. Machine setup and grinding for customer machine qualifications. Provide machine start up assistance and training at customer facilities and provide advice for customer specific applications. Customers include industrial manufacturing clients in industries such as aerospace fasteners manufacturers, bar grinding service providers, and contract manufacturing companies.
This position is a permanent role that is a long-term need for my client.
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
Job Requirements
- 15 or more years of experience with centerless grinders
- Communication is paramount
- Grinding vocabulary, manufacturing engineering, process control must be second nature
- Travel 50%-75% travel across North America
- Manufacturing Process and Cycle time skills with understanding of CPK & PPAP fundamentals and engineering print tolerance knowledge
- Ability to create and execute personal monthly schedules
