In this role, you will be working as a Safety Director for a company that specializes in electrical and telecommunications contracting services. In this role you will be responsible for helping create, implement, and uphold safety processes, procedures, and standards, visit client sites, and perform audits.
This position is a contract to permanent role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site with occasional site visits, generally within a 30-minute drive from the main office.
Job Requirements
- Certification held in higher level safety OR a degree in occupational health and safety required
- OSHA 10, 30, and 500 required
- OSHA 510 preferred
- Additional safety certifications preferred (examples : CHST, STSC, CSP)
- Experience in safety within construction preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Experience with Bluebeam preferred
- Excellent oral and written comprehension and expression
