In this role as a Controls Engineer, you will be working for a client that is in the food and beverage processing equipment industry. This position will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and developing custom applications based on industry, process, and the client's specific needs. This position will also be reviewing and debugging control designs and also traveling to client's locations.
This position is a permanent role that is a long-term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site and is traveling 35% of the time.
Job Requirements
- Five (5) or more years of experience in PLC / HMI Programmer.
- Fluid process experience is required.
- In depth working knowledge and experience programming with Allen-Bradley.
- Proficient with AutoCAD.
- Experience reviewing control designs and debugging.
- Technical Degree in an electrical / mechanical technician program is a plus.
- Concise and clear communication skills.
