In this role, you will be working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a client that works in the construction industry. This position will be responsible for working on central energy plant and power plant projects.
This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term opportunity for my client. This role must be worked on-site to start but would lead to a hybrid schedule.
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
- P.E. License or ability to get your license with six months
- 5-10 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role
- Supervise a team of engineers and designers
- Work with project management and internal staff
- Size and select equipment to meet project needs
- Perform detailed engineering on process piping systems, HVAC systems etc.
- Develop P&IDs
- Experience with analysis software such as RISA and Bentley
- Experience with CAD (AutoCAD, Plant 3D and Cadworx preferred)
- Experience with utility plant projects preferred
- Experience with national and local codes
