We here at Techniserv, Inc are seeking an Electrical Designer to join our talented Electrical team.
This position is onsite in Berwick, PA with a weekly schedule of Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. An excellent benefits package with insurance, education, 401K, employee assistance program, and yearly bonus is also included. Pay commensurate with experience and education.
The Electrical Designer position is available for individuals with experience in the following areas:
Required Experience:
- 3 years of electrical design or engineering experience.
- AS or AAS in Electrical Design/CAD Drafting/Electrical Engineering Technology or similar required.
- BS Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology preferred.
- Electrical Design expertise low voltage/high voltage required.
- 2D CAD experience, Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical required.
- Ability to understand P&ID drawings.
- Bioreactor and/or Pharmaceutical processes (preferred).
- Experience in automated equipment design (preferred).
- Experience with NFPA 70 (NEC), UL 508a, CE required.
Job Details:
- Read and interpret P&IDs.
- Electrical architecture creation.
- Low and high voltage panel layout and design.
- BUS network layout and optimization.
- 2D Drafting and detail creation.
- Hazardous area system design.
- Moderate travel may be required (less than 15%) with a Travel Bonus Program.
- Perform all other duties and functions as assigned.
