The Product Line Manager (PLM) is responsible for managing the lifecycle, strategy, and performance of a s Technium’s Secure Network-as-a-Service portfolio of products and services. This role involves developing new services, enhancing existing offerings, and working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and technical teams to drive growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network and network security services, market analysis, and product development within an MSP or similar technology environment. 


Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute the product roadmap for assigned service lines, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends. 
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new services and enhancements to existing offerings. 
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and promotional campaigns. 
  • Work closely with technical teams to define service specifications, implementation plans, and performance metrics. 
  • Manage product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including planning, development, deployment, and end-of-life strategies. 
  • Act as the subject matter expert for assigned product lines, supporting internal teams and customers with technical knowledge and insights. 
  • Monitor key performance metrics to measure success and adjust strategies as needed to optimize performance. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, best practices, and security standards. 
  • Develop training materials and provide support for sales and customer success teams. 
  • Foster relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to enhance service capabilities.

  • Read and follow all company policies and processes including but not limited to Company Handbook, WISP and SOC2 Compliance, and Core Company Processes 
  • Follow EOS and understand success relies on Right Person Right Seat (RPRS) and metrics 
  • Maintain confidential information 

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 
  • 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within a Networking, MSP or IT services company. 
  • Strong understanding of managed network services, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and general IT services.  
  • Proven ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. 
  • Excellent project management skills with experience in Agile or other development methodologies. 
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. 
  • Experience with pricing models, financial analysis, and business strategy. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams. 

Preferred Certifications 

  • CCIE or equivalent 
  • ITIL Certification 
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) 
  • AWS, Azure, or other cloud-related certifications 
  • CISSP or other cybersecurity certifications (a plus)
