Job Description:
- Installation, configuration, upgrade, administration, monitoring and maintenance of databases in an organization.
- This includes, but is not limited to, the development and design of database strategies, system monitoring and improving database performance and capacity, planning for future expansion requirements, and data warehouse.
- It may also include planning, coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard the database.
- This requires a thorough knowledge and understanding of one or more of the following database technologies: DB2, Oracle, MS SQL, or MS Access.
