Job Description:

Subject Matter Expert for Maine's Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).

Agency is seeking a dedicated Subject Matter Expert (SME) to enhance our team's performance and knowledge in the area of Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES), Medicaid, Medicare Third Party Liability and claims processing.The SME will be responsible for defining project outcomes, establishing project standards, and offering technical guidance to project teams. Our ideal candidate is highly knowledgeable in the MES field, with a deep understanding of the latest industry trends and developments. The role of a Subject Matter Expert involves sharing technical insights and providing direction to achieve the team's objectives effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge in the respective field
• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction
• Participate in project planning and execution
• Ensure that project outcomes align with the set specifications and standards
• Create and deliver trainings to enhance team's knowledge and performance
• Identify opportunities for improvement and propose corrective actions
• Participate in audits as required
• Collaborate with the team to address customer needs and issues
• Provide guidance during the decision-making process.
