Job Title: SQL Server Developer
Work Location: Alpharetta GA (Hybrid Work Model 3 Days in a Week Onsite)
Job Description:
Primary Skills: Full Stack Developer
- SQL Server Developer UI Developer.
- SQL Server Administration some work related to infrastructure migration, migration of databases, administrative role during first 3-4 months.
- Backend skills: SQL Server, Relational Databases, Maintaining SQL server databases, backups, Migrations, production deployments, database performance, Database patches, upgrades.
- UI skills: Angular, React, Javascript, Python, HTML5 etc.
UI Design Skills:
- REST, MongoDB, React.JS, HTML5 / CSS, JavaScript, Python, MySQL, Postgres, Jasmine, MobX, FormState, React Toolbox, Redux, Aceyus.
Must Have Skills (Most Important):
- Proficiency in SQL Server administration, maintenance, monitoring, and configuration
- Advanced knowledge of relational databases and writing complex SQL queries
- Working knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server Integration Services
Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and configure SQL Server databases.
- Perform database backups, implement data retention policies, perform production deployments.
- Manage database performance, availability, and security protocols.
- Apply database updates, patches, and upgrades.
- Create, schedule, and monitor jobs using SQL Server Agent.
- Design and maintain data models and datasets.
- Develop complex datasets leveraging SSIS using data sourced from multiple platforms.
- Provide query optimization in support of database and web development, and adhoc SQL queries.
- Review and maintain GitLab Repositories.
- Create and manage remediation plans for vulnerability scans.
- Maintain documentation of database architecture, configurations, and processes.
- Strong knowledge of common web front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and React.JS).
- Understanding of JavaScript architecture design.
- Knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, and componentization approaches.
- Expertise with cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web.
- Experience in building high performance, high availability and highly interactive websites.
- React.JS, Flux, Webpack, Sass or similar.
- Application monitoring with StatsD and Graphite, New Relic or similar.
- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis.
- SSIS - SQL Server Integrated Services.
- Experience with Distributed Systems.
- React Native (Flexbox).
Desired Skills:
- Experienced SQL Developer
- Experience with Javascript, AngularJS, C#, and Visual Basic preferred
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
Education/Certifications: Desired but Not Required
- BS Computer Science
- Microsoft / Azure Database Administrator Certification
