Job Description
- The Engineer Infrastructure role is responsible for installation and maintenance of applications on the open system platform running Windows and Linux operating systems. Assist in the design and implementation of new IT functions. Will advise and support other areas. This position will have a focus on OS and application security and security remediation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Position is hybrid, onsite 60%. Remote candidates considered if willing to relocate
- Potential for extension and/or conversion to FTE
Skill/Experience/Education
- Mandatory Skills Requirements:
- Experience with the installation and configuration of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experienced with installation and deployment of large vendor supplied applications.
- Experience with SAS is a strong preference.
- Experience working with web services
- Understanding of Activity Directory, other authentication methods, and data communications
- Understanding of computing technologies, protocols, and diagnostic software.
- Solid understanding of troubleshooting techniques.
- Communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to work independently.
- Coding and automation skills, such as PowerShell, VB, BASH, and others Apache Tomcat and Microsoft IIS servers
- Ability and willingness to work with others in a collaborative team environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours
Desired Skills
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or relevant field
