About the Role
Platform as a Service (PaaS) Engineer/Administrator
Hybrid 2 days onsite/week in Windsor Mill/Woodlawn, MD.
Need to be onsite initial 1-week for Badging and onboarding purposes
Need good experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Responsibilities -
- Design, administer, optimize, and secure Red Hat Enterprise Linux v6.x/7.x/8.x
- Design and implement automated deployment and configuration tools for RHEL PaaS
- Use of Red Hat Satellite in support of deployment, management and auditing of the PaaS infrastructure
- Design and develop an architecture of PaaS infrastructure based on Docker and Kubernetes
- Design and develop an architecture of PaaS infrastructure in a hybrid Cloud environment
- Deploy a Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions based on open-source software and industry best practices
- Automate Docker application builds using industry standard tools such as Jenkins
- Automate the creation of Platform as a Service (PaaS) infrastructure using industry standard tools such as Ansible
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems and issues within the Platform as a Service infrastructure
Required Skills - Red Hat Enterprise Linux v6.x/7.x/8.x Operating System, Ansible Playbooks and Ansible Tower, PaaS infrastructure based on Docker and Kubernetes, OpenShift Container Platform, Linux command-line environment, Bachelors degree with 7 years of experience.

- Skills and ability to manage image repositories in support of Docker Containers
- Skills and ability to deploy PaaS solutions based on open-source software and industry best practices
- Skills and ability to automate Docker application builds using industry standard tools
- Skills and ability to automate the creation of PaaS infrastructure using industry standard tools such as Ansible Automation and Red Hat Cloud Forms
- Skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems and issues within a PaaS infrastructure
