Global Life Sciences Web Platform
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to lead the development and maintenance of our global Life Sciences web platform. The platform consists of 140 websites built on a single template system, serving multiple business units and regions. As a key member of our IT organization, this role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, improve customer experience, and ensure successful delivery of technical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision and Roadmap
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to define product vision, goals, and
requirements
Partner with customer experience and Project Management to develop and maintain athe product roadmap, prioritizing features and projects based on business needs and
customer feedback
Ensure alignment with overall IT and business strategiesEnsure requirements are aligned with business needs and customer expectationsTechnical LeadershipWork closely with the Delivery IT team to design, develop, and deploy platformenhancements
Ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and maintainability of platform featuresPartner with internal teams and external vendors to define and maintain clear lines ofroles and responsibilities.
Stakeholder ManagementLiaise with various stakeholders, including executive leadership, customer experienceteam members, and delivery teams
Communicate product vision, progress, and plans to stakeholdersEnsure effective issue resolution and risk managementTesting and Quality AssuranceCollaborate with the Quality Assurance team to define testing strategies and ensurecomprehensive testing of platform features
Ensure SLC processes are followed diligently and SLC documents created in line withstandards
Metrics and AnalyticsTrack key platform metrics (KPIs), such as website performance, user engagement, andconversion rates
Analyze data to inform product decisions, optimize platform performance, and improvecustomer experience
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholdersChange ManagementPartner with Delivery IT to develop and implement change management plans to ensuresmooth deployment of platform enhancements
Collaborate with the Delivery IT team to ensure effective communication and trainingfor end-users and support teams
Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during platform deploymentsRequirements
EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldMBA or related advanced degree a plusExperience10 years of experience in a technical product management roleExperience in the Life Sciences industry, preferably in a global organizationProven track record of launching successful products and featuresSkillsStrong software development process backgroundExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with Agile development methodologiesFamiliarity with web CMS and web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptCertificationsPMP or Scrum Master certification a plusNice to Have
