Description :
As an AWS Administrator, you will be responsible for managing our cloud-based infrastructure to support our applications and services. This role involves managing the deployment, monitoring, and support of AWS-based environments to ensure high availability, reliability and performance. You will work closely with development teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain applications hosted on AWS. The role requires a strong understanding of AWS architecture, cloud security best practises, and the ability to automate tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our cloud environments are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain AWS Infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability and security.
- Implement and manage cloud security measures, including IAM roles, security groups and VPC configurations.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Automate cloud operations using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost-effectiveness, performance, and reliability.
- Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and execution.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications in the AWS environment.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations and procedures.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Stay updated on AWS services and best practices to ensure optimal use of cloud technologies.
Bachelor's or mater's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
