Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual as a Microsoft Defender Consultant. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support Microsoft Defender suite, ensuring their effective implementation and utilization. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding systems and data from potential threats, ensuring a secure computing environment.
Responsibilities :
- Lead technical support processes and guide internal teams and users of Microsoft Defender products, including Microsoft Defender Antivirus, Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Defender products across our organization's systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices related to Microsoft Defender.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events generated by Microsoft Defender products, promptly responding to and escalating any potential issues or threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests using Microsoft Defender tools to identify potential weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft Defender features, updates, and security trends, and share this knowledge with the organization.
- Assist in incident response activities, including containment, investigation, and recovery, leveraging Microsoft Defender capabilities.
