Full Job Description
Responsibilities : Configures, tunes, maintains, and installs application systems and / or user group profiles. Schedules installations and upgrades. Validates system functionality after changes. Installs new software releases and application system upgrades. Evaluates and installs patches. Evaluates new vendor supplied products. Monitors and fine-tunes the application system to achieve optimum performance levels. Works with internal infrastructure teams and vendors to provide recommendations for hardware and system software upgrades. Develops and maintains a comprehensive system hardware and software configuration database / library of all supporting documentation. Works with application developers, vendors, and internal infrastructure team members to troubleshoot application system problems. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Understands system architecture and provides guidance to development teams and business lines on how to use the system. Acts to improve the overall reliability of systems and to increase administers efficiency. Demonstrates good understanding of the business needs driving the projects. Ability to communicate and collaborate with Security and Database teams to perform setup of packaged software. Required Skills : MS Office Windows workstation and server, MS SQL Server, SQL

Required Skills : Skills : Knowledge of authoring tools and human interface. Must be experienced with performance aspects of application development. Knowledge of DBMSs, development methodology, standards, design tools and specification representation. MCP internet or other certifications like Win 95 / 98 / NT / Unix, Java Script, VB Script, PERL, XML, HTML, SQL Server, Oracle, Progress, MS Front Page, Cold Fusion, Visual Interdev, ActiveX and Java Applets, ISAPI / NSAPI or MS IIS. Knowledge of web design principles and standards, firewall and network security and Internet database connectivity.
