- Role: GCP Engineer
- Experience: 6-9 Years
- Location: Phoenix, AZ
- Duration: 12 Month Contract
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize data workflows using BigQuery to handle and process large datasets.
- Utilize Composer, DataProc, or DataFlow to orchestrate and manage data pipelines on GCP.
- Write efficient, maintainable code, with a preference for candidates proficient in Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all projects.
Required Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience with BigQuery and managing large-scale data processing.
- Strong knowledge of GCP tools, including Composer, DataProc, or DataFlow.
- Proficiency in data engineering and programming concepts.
- Ability to handle complex data workflows in a cloud-native environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java for building and enhancing data processing pipelines.
- Experience with data modeling and performance optimization in BigQuery.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and large-scale data operations.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
