- Role: Infrastructure Engineer
- Experience: 6-9 Years
- Location: Phoenix, AZ
- Duration: 12 Months Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Artifactory environments.
- Design, develop, and upgrade scalable Jenkins pipelines; manage plugins, optimize job execution, integrate with Artifactory, and implement secure credential handling for automation.
- Manage, upgrade, and monitor Linux-based CI/CD environments; automate system tasks using Bash and Ansible; troubleshoot disk, process, and log-related issues to ensure high availability.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues impacting CI/CD pipelines; troubleshoot DNS, firewall, proxy, and SSL/TLS issues using tools like tcpdump, curl, and netstat.
- Maintain observability across systems using tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace; create dashboards, alerts, and reports to ensure end-to-end visibility into Jenkins, Artifactory, and infrastructure performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong experience with Linux system administration and automation tools (Bash, Ansible).
- Deep understanding of containerized environments, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in Jenkins pipeline management, plugin lifecycle management, and CI/CD best practices.
- Solid knowledge of networking protocols, troubleshooting tools, and security principles.
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Familiarity with cloud-based CI/CD environments is a plus.
