The Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with strong experience in large-scale data processing applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, Apache Flink, and Beam, along with experience working on high-volume data platforms.
- Role: Java Backend Developer
- Experience: 6-9 Years
- Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Duration: 12 Months Contract
Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain backend applications using Java.
- Design and implement large-scale data processing solutions using Apache Flink or Beam.
- Collaborate with data engineers and cloud architects to ensure efficient data pipelines.
- Work with databases such as Google BigQuery or Oracle to manage and analyze large datasets.
- Integrate solutions within cloud environments, with GCP experience considered a plus.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java backend development.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Flink, Beam, or similar streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Storm).
- Experience with large-scale data processing applications.
- Knowledge of databases like BigQuery or Oracle.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with distributed systems and real-time data processing.
- Knowledge of containerization and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
