The Opportunity: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems Administrator to support the development and maintenance of their PLM infrastructure. This role involves managing production, development, and test environments for PLM applications, including CAD systems from Siemens and Dassault Systèmes. The PLM Systems Administrator will oversee engineering, deployment, provisioning, and maintenance of these systems to ensure seamless operation across multiple office locations in the U.S. and internationally. This position may also involve supporting workloads in private or public cloud environments, with limited travel as needed.

- Role: PLM Systems Administrator
- Experience: 5-10 Years
- Location: Dallas, TX
- Duration: 6-12 Month Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Siemens and Dassault Systèmes PLM systems, including Teamcenter, NX, and SolidWorks.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain CAD-related solutions across various tiers (web tier, enterprise tier, database tier, FMS, and security services) in a production environment.
- Monitor and optimize PLM environments for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Manage PLM test environments, improving environment spin-up and refresh processes.
- Implement new CAD tools and features, deploy BMIDE updates, and apply customizations with minimal downtime.
- Provide day-to-day support and training to CAD engineering users, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLM with ERP, MES, and other data systems.
- Stay updated with the latest PLM advancements by coordinating with vendors and third-party service providers.
- Support the broader IT Infrastructure team in its mission to maintain and improve enterprise systems.
- 4 years of experience installing, developing, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining engineering systems (PLM, CAD, CAE, SysML), particularly Siemens and Dassault Systèmes solutions.
- 4 years of experience administering Windows and Linux server and desktop environments.
- Knowledge of VMware and/or Azure public cloud.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot both end-user and infrastructure issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; 8 years with a Master’s; or 5 years with a Ph.D.; or equivalent industry experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional team coordination.
- Experience supporting applications and systems in production and test environments, ideally in software development or manufacturing.
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server administration, Active Directory, SQL Server, and Azure.
- Strong understanding of at least one virtualization platform (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
- Experience with Agile project management, cloud middleware, data management, containerization, cluster orchestration, and large-scale data stores.
