What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Systems Specialist position at Technology Construction Performance?
The individual will be responsible for Comprehensive Smart Video Platform system maintenance and Automated Access Control Systems, coordination, installation, monitoring, and maintenance. System maintenance and system administration and all field components of the systems will be part of the individual’s responsibilities. The individual will also assist in coordination of system projects.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs technical support for components of the CCTV and Access Control Systems.
2. Perform system test, diagnostic, analysis, and repairs.
3. Perform system preventative maintenance and cleaning.
4. Assists with system manufacturers and diagnosis.
5. Assist in coordination of related projects.
6. Participates in project meetings for work implemented as needed.
7. Programs and configures identified components.
8. Maintains system documentation and documents system changes.
9. Responds to inquiries from customer staff, tenants, management and contractors for system user support.
· Completion of High School curriculum or equivalent
· Three (3) years of CCTV or security system support experience.
· Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
· Knowledge of the principles and practices of AACS and CCTV systems design and implementation, including hardware, software, communications standards, and documentation.
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing at all levels within and outside the organization.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships inside and outside the organization.
· Qognify/NICE Systems experience
· Kaplogics experience
· American Dynamics experience
· Axis, Bosch, Panasonic Camera systems.
· Zenitel intercom experience
· Lenel OnGuard experience
· Lenel Picture Perfect experience
· The department may specify AACS and CCTV Systems and specific experience required to meet its technical requirement.
· This position will be required to pass a drug screening test prior to employment and to submit to drug screening on a random basis during the length of their employment in the safety sensitive position.
· Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et. Al. and the Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal.
