Job Title: Part-Time Instructor –HVACR - 20 hours/week
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified and reliable Part-Time Instructor to teach and HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) courses in both the classroom and hands-on lab environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, experienced in the field, and able to engage with students in dynamic settings, including customer sites and our educational facility.
Key Responsibilities:
· Teach and assess students in HVACR, and other related courses.
· Provide instructional support in a lab environment, ensuring students understand both theoretical concepts and practical applications.
· Deliver HVACR training at various customer sites
· Supervise and mentor students in practical hands-on activities, ensuring safety and proper procedure adherence.
· Develop and maintain course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and assessments.
· Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment in both classroom and lab settings, which may involve working in equipment-intensive areas.
· Support students in understanding and applying HVACR systems, troubleshooting techniques, and industry standards.
· Be available to travel to various customer sites as required, providing on-site training and support.
Physical Requirements:
· The role requires the ability to work in an environment surrounded by heavy machinery and equipment.
· Must be capable of lifting up to 25-30 lbs, bending, and performing other physical tasks required in the lab and at customer sites.
· Ability to drive to customer sites as needed
· Able to work in noisy conditions.

· Given the physical demands and environment, the candidate must be able to handle the physicality of the role.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience teaching or working in HVACR.
· Strong knowledge of HVACR systems, troubleshooting, and repair.
· Previous experience working with hands-on labs and classroom instruction.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
· Ability to drive and travel to customer sites as needed
Desired Skills:
· Certification or formal training in HVACR or related fields.
· Previous experience working in HVACR Field
· Ability to work in high-pressure or challenging environments, while ensuring the safety and success of students.
