Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for an experienced software integration engineer to join their rapidly growing team!
As a Software Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Ability to integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software.
- Generate documentation for the full software stack.
- Update software for sustainment support.
- Basic Linux system administration skills and shell scripting.
- Execute test codes for characterization of software performance.
- Provide software product ownership for HPC tools.
- Working knowledge of CM tools, web documentation, and issue tracking.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and switch between various architectural paradigms.
- Develop software tool plugins in the language in which the tools are written.
- Determine the optimal, or best available, HPC configuration for customer needs.
Requirements
Required:
- Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment, OR Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment, OR fifteen (15) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python
- General HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage components
- Experience performing Linux System Administration tasks including installation, configuration, and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, file, network, and storage systems
- Experience with Software Architecture/Engineering in software design, code development, and debugging in C/C
- Experience with HPC open source parallel programming language tools
- Experience with automating test procedures
- System Testing experience in a Linux operating environment
- Experience performing benchmarking and system testing in a large Linux environment
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) concepts, principles and automation tools such as Ansible and SaltStack
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Preferred:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Ability to develop, debug, and test applications based upon design and performance requirements
- Experience with Linux cluster/node monitoring tools such as NHC (Node Health Check)
- Familiar with InfiniBand network communications
- Familiar with parallel file systems such as Lustre
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
