The Project Manager oversees strategic and operational initiatives critical to business growth, operations development and transformation, and client and Associate success. Partners with Leadership to drive key projects and guides cross-functional teams in execution.
Position responsibilities
• Lead complex, cross-functional projects in support of (but not limited to) operational transformation and change management, design and brand management, technology vendor evaluation, strategic carrier relationships, Associate development, client service, and marketing
• Create organization when placed into complex or ambiguous situations
• Develop and maintain project plans through utilization of Project Management tools and software
• Proactively manages project timelines and supports development of resource allocation strategies
• Partner with Leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Monitor project health, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Create and maintain project documentation and templates, status reports, and executive updates
• Drive operational efficiencies across teams through the co-development and implementation of templates and procedures; Proactively suggests alternations to processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiency, exemplifying the ability to stray from established procedures
• Organizes and supports facilitation of strategic meetings, working sessions and communications
• Develops, maintains, and audits new and lost business tracking system, providing readouts and reporting to leadership, and facilitating updates with the account teams as needed
• May supervise and/or provide cross-training to Assistant Project Manager and Marketing Analyst to enhance understanding and application of processes, projects, and procedures
• Other ad hoc projects and responsibilities as required by the Risk Practice team
Position qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or years of experience equivalent
• Aptitude to work across Executive teams and cross-functional business Leaders in both a consultative and Project Management role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Project Management tools (Monday, Asana, etc.).
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
• Ability to work outside of regular business hours as needed
• Highly organized individual with exceptional time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads to meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, project team members, and associates at all levels of responsibility, representing Lockton in the highest professional manor
• Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night
• Legally able to work in the United States
