What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Contractor Program Security Officer position at Technology Security Associates, Inc.?
Technology Security Associates is currently seeking a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), junior level, to support our government customer at NAS Patuxent River. Be proficient and capable of execution of duties pertaining to personnel security, physical security, and information security. Implement security processes necessary to protect classified information, with strict adherence to NISPOM, DoDM 5200.01 Vol. 1-3, DODI 5200.02, DoDI 5200.48, and other applicable Executive Order and DoD regulations. Conduct security spot checks and assist visits. This position will require routine interface with all levels of management and government customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop, Implement, and Administer security plans, programs, and policies for program personnel and facilities. Manage NISPOM, DoDM 5200.01 Vol. 1-3, and DoDI 5200.48 related Program Security requirements to include physical, information, and personnel matters.
- Maintain compliance with the US Government security regulations and directives. Participate in compliance assessment reviews and perform self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements. Identify deficiencies and recommends corrective action.
- Complete daily facility inspection checklists, manage door/safe combinations, etc. to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements.
- Conduct clearance verifications via the DISS or NBIS.
- Prepare, review, and submit CDRLs, DD-254s and Statements of Work (SOW).
- Maintain document and material accountability program, oversee secure storage and workspaces for customers and company, conduct annual inventory of accountable material. Ensures that all classified materials held by the site are compliant with the regulations and directives, which govern marking, handling, controlling, removing, transporting, sanitizing, reusing, and destroying classified information and equipment containing classified information.
- Resolve other related program Security issues.
Qualifications Required:
- 1 or more years of experience in DoD/DoN Acquisition Security and a High School Diploma.
- Must possess an understanding of Security's role in the NAVAIR Acquisition Lifecycle. Requires ability to develop, implement and maintain a multi-disciplined security program for complex, major acquisition programs.
- Working knowledge of NISPOM, DoDM 5200.01 Vol. 1-3, DODI 5200.02 and DoDI 5200.48 security standards.
- Working knowledge of OPSEC, PERSEC, INFOSEC, PHYSEC
- Strong writing ability and be comfortable with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams and be familiar with using Sharepoint functions.
- Strong initiative with ability to operate with minimal supervision.
- Experience with JPAS/DISS/NBIS
- SECRET clearance
Qualifications Desired:
- An ideal candidate would have a minimum three (3) years of experience with Acquisition Security in support of DoD/DoN
- A strong administrative skillset.
TSA is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employees. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
