What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Project Manager position at Technology Ventures?
Responsible for planning, executing and delivering consumer facing marketing and education initiatives. This person will manage projects through the design, implementation and testing phases in accordance with project objectives. The Project Manager will collaborate with multiple groups and stakeholders to ensure projects meet expectations and are completed on time and on budget.
The Project Manager is required to use program management tools to manage project work plans, issues, risks, and dependencies.
The Project Manager will produce status reports, conduct status meetings and facilitate issue resolution and risk management sessions.
Skills:
1) Oversee the planning and execution of marketing/strategic deliverables
2) Facilitate communications with key stakeholders to align on key objectives, outcomes and deliverables
3) Develop and maintain detailed project workplans to keep teams up to date with progress and changes to plan
4) Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
5) Ability to help resolve technical issues
6) Ability to manage, coordinate and guide several projects at a time
7) Strong issue resolution and risk management skills
8) Experience with project management methodologies
9) Maintain quality standards across all deliverables
10) Work with internal creative and communications departments, as well as external vendors and/or freelancers
11) Manage and oversee project budget to actuals
Education/Work Experience:
1) PMI/Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired
2) Considered to have strong skills and expertise in the project management field, including experience with Workfront and/or other work management systems
3) Extreme attention to detail and proven ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment
4) Marketing experience desired but not required
5) 4-5 years of PM experience
6) Demonstrated ability in managing projects similar in scope and complexity to the project requirements; shows a track record of completing projects on time
