Important Notes:
- The job is remote, but onsite presence is required on the first day and quarterly for meetings.
- This is primarily a UI/UX design role. Research work is not needed on a daily basis; it is only conducted during downtime to assess whether implemented designs are effective.
- Full-time work (40 hours/week) if the candidate can support UI/UX design and UAT.
- Part-time work (20 hours/week) if the candidate focuses only on UI/UX design.
Overview:
- We are looking for a skilled UI/UX Designer to help design and enhance our application screens, provide feedback on existing UI, and support our User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts. The candidate will be involved in revamping our Model Risk Management System while ensuring the design aligns with Salesforce Lightning capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and refine UI screens based on user requirements.
- Provide feedback and improve existing UI screens.
- Participate in UAT efforts by understanding functionalities developed by the technical team and assisting in testing.
- Convert user requirements into mockups and present feasible designs using Salesforce Lightning components.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather user requirements and translate them into interactive designs.
- Create high-fidelity interactive mockups using Figma (preferred), Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Work with the governance team to align designs with brand guidelines and industry best practices.
- Conduct user research and UX design surveys to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement during downtime periods.
- Work within the Agile development process, translating designs into user stories for the development team.
- Verify with users whether implemented designs are meeting their needs and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain a structured schedule for UI design work (20 hours/week for part-time candidates).
Requirements:
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning components and the ability to integrate them into design mockups.
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles and user research methodologies.
- Proficiency in Figma (preferred), along with Sketch and Adobe XD.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Understanding of UAT processes and ability to participate in testing new functionalities.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant UI/UX design experience (required during the interview process).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Local candidates preferred, but highly skilled non-local candidates will be considered as long as they can come onsite on the first day and quarterly meetings.
- Previous experience designing for applications in a regulated enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with Agile development and ability to translate design requirements into user stories.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and improve user experience based on feedback and research.
Interview Process:
- Round 1 & 2: Technical interviews with UI/UX experts. We expect to see a portfolio.
- Round 3: Managerial interview.
Additional Details:
- The candidate will work on an existing application framework and enhance its design.
- 20 hours/week dedicated to UI/UX design.
- Full-time role available (40 hours/week) if the candidate also supports UAT.
- Our client will cover travel expenses for onsite visits (first day and quarterly meetings).
