Client: A major global corporation and leader in their industry operating over 350 manufacturing facilities with annual revenue over $24B and employing over 15,000.
Overview:
The Power BI Data Analyst will create analytical insights and deliver strategies to achieve key business objectives and drivers. Serve as a partner promoting collaboration with cross-functional teams to design innovative reporting capabilities that provide key insights, quality metrics, and business KPIs. Apply experience in analytics, data visualization, simulations, and predictive modeling to find solutions for a variety of business and technical problems. The role acts as a key business partner for visualizing and structuring data to uncover meaningful insights in an agile manner.
Role:
- Build complex models to assess operational opportunities and drive implementation cross functionally. Leverage diverse technology platforms to refine and automate data sources and harmonize data points.
- Use Power BI including visualization, parameters, report optimization, creating measures, modeling, and transforming data into actionable intelligence to support business objectives.
- Clearly communicate insights in context while translating data into visualizations that aid decision-making.
- Demonstrate business acumen and align with business priorities.
- Tie together a business problem and technology solution that may not have a clearly defined relationship or organizationally paved path to ultimately derive rich consumer insight.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing projects, enhancements and solving problems relating to ongoing initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders within the commercial organization may be necessary.
Qualifications:
- Ability to be employed as a W2 with TechnoSmarts.
- Associates Degree or higher in IT, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in data analytics, data science, engineering, statistics or related technical field.
- 2 years of experience in Power BI.
- 2 years of Power Query transformation and model optimization within Power BI.
