What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controls Engineer (Schneider) position at Technosoft Engineering?
Title: Controls Engineer
Contract: 18 months
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- Process / Machine Control System: Experience in Design, Implementation, Programming, Troubleshooting, Site Acceptance Test, Factory Acceptance Test, Start-up activities, and Commissioning.
- Study customer specifications and understand customer requirements.
- Development of HMI specification, Functional Design Specification for SCADA, and Detailed Design
Specification for SCADA.
- Hands-on Experience in subsystem communication protocols with Modbus serial RS-485, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC, Profibus and commissioning.
- Quality check of the deliverables in line with company standards.
- Detail Engineering / Commissioning and Maintenance of PLC, HMI, and SCADA.
- Possess knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS systems, Sensors and Transducers, Field Instruments, VFD, Servo Drives, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrical systems.
Software Expertise:
- PLC Software : Schneider Electric, Codesys 3.5 SP16, 18, 19, and Beckhoff TwinCAT3
- EcoStruxure Control Expert 15V, Unity Pro 14V (For PLC series M580, M340, Premium), Machine Expert SoMachine 4.3V and Basic (For PLC series like TM241, TM221 and TM200)
- SCADA Software : Plant SCADA (Citect SCADA), Vijeo Citect 7.4, AVEVA, Wonderware
