Our direct client is looking for a Salesforce Technical Consultant for a Hybrid Contract position in Trenton, NJ.
Note:
- This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days on-site and remote for 2 days. No Exceptions.

Job description:
- Senior level resource with specialized knowledge & experience in application development (requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing & implementation) with emphasis on Salesforce.com, OO programming & Client Server.
- Under the direction of a supervisor in the Office of Information Technology at the New Jersey Department of Education, this position will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce and integration solutions between Salesforce and other external systems. The candidate will liaison with different program offices, evaluate user requests, document functional and non-functional requirements, architect, develop and deploy solutions and ensure that the systems meet the desired specifications.
Education: Bachelor s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a related technical field.
Experience:
- (7) years of experience in application development activities including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation with emphasis on Salesforce, Force.com, object oriented programming, and Client Server technologies.
- Salesforce Developer or Admin track certifications
- Ability to think outside of the box and design innovative solutions
- Develop and code solutions to specification.
Skill Matrix:
- Experience in Salesforce declarative environment - Required
- Hand-on experience with Salesforce configuration experience - Required
- Experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs - Force.com SOAP and REST-based web service APIS, the BULK API - Required
- Agile development experience - Required
- Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and strategies to both technical and non-technical people - Required
- Document application specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements. - Required
- Identify and evaluate vendor/partner software and integration strategies.- Required

- Experience retrieving data from Oracle Database - Required

- Experience with Metadata API - Strong plus to have
- Experience in Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, JavaScript - Strong plus to have
- Experience creating reports in Tableau - Strong plus to have
