Our direct client is looking for a VMware VCF and SRM Engineer for a Hybrid Long-term contract position in Washington, DC.
Note : - Hybrid position - will require on-site reporting to client office up to 3 days / week.
Job Description :
Seeking an experienced VMware VCF & SRM Engineer to design, implement, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and Site Recovery Manager (SRM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software-defined data centers (SDDC), disaster recovery planning, and VMware automation tools. This role requires hands-on experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining VCF environments while ensuring business continuity through effective disaster recovery solutions with SRM.
Responsibilities :
VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) :
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.
- Configure and optimize vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite within SDDC.
- Implement lifecycle management, upgrades, and patches using VMware SDDC Manager.
- Automate deployment and management tasks using PowerCLI, vRealize Automation, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Troubleshoot performance and operational issues within the VCF stack.
- Ensure security best practices and compliance across virtualized environments.
VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) :
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
