About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data between systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oracle Database Management: You will effectively manage and maintain Oracle database instances across different environments (development, testing, production). This includes installation, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, security (access control and encryption), backup and recovery, and automation using scripting languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting).
- Data Engineering & ETL: You will design, develop, and implement ETL processes to move data between systems. This includes building and maintaining data pipelines and working with ETL tools like Talend and Informatica PowerCenter, optimizing ETL performance, and ensuring data accuracy and quality.
Requirements
- Experience needed with Oracle Database Administration, as well as ETL/Data Engineering.
- Skills: Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, Python, and ETL tools (like Talend and Informatica).
- Pharma experience is a must, CRO experience is a plus.
