We are seeking an experienced Associate AI Engineer with expertise in Generative AI technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI model development, specifically in Gen AI. As a AI Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing the AI-driven platform that powers infrastructure analysis and document management.
Position: Associate AI Engineer
Duration: Full-Time
Location: Ridgewood, New Jersey, United States
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize Generative AI (Gen AI) models for infrastructure document analysis, map interpretation, and image recognition.
- Work on developing the Gen AI search engine for efficient document and image search, improving user experience for engineers and planners.
- Contribute to the platform’s computer vision capabilities, enhancing the recognition and processing of complex images of infrastructure-related documents and maps.
- Leverage cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy and scale AI solutions for government and defense-related use cases.
- Ensure the AI models comply with federal security and privacy standards, particularly in working with DoD/Army or federal government projects.
- Analyze and troubleshoot model performance, providing continuous improvements and updates based on feedback.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and engineers to ensure the AI-powered platform meets all requirements for usability, scalability, and security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in AI/ML development, specifically in Generative AI
- Strong expertise in Generative AI technologies, including GPT, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, or similar models.
- Proven experience with the development and deployment of AI models, particularly for document/image analysis and recognition tasks.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with Gen AI concepts, including text-to-image generation, transformers, and large language models (LLMs).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their use in deploying AI-driven solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
