Title : Project Manager / Project Superintendent – Solar & Distributed Generation Projects (Direct hire job opportunity)
Compensation : $90,000 - $125,000 with Bonus Potential, Medical Benefits including Health, Dental, and Vision, and 401k with company match!
Location : can be based in Orange County or Los Angeles, CA (some travel to Arizona)
Job Summary :
We are seeking a Project Manager / Project Superintendent to lead and oversee the successful execution of solar installation projects, linear generators, fuel cells and distributed generation systems. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.
Projects are primarily in California with two upcoming projects in Arizona.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Planning & Management :
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure project deliverables align with client specifications.
- Construction Supervision :
- Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, monitoring performance and resolving any issues that arise.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work aligns with project plans and specifications.
- Stakeholder Communication :
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any potential issues.
- Liaise with internal teams, regulatory agencies, and third-party inspectors as needed.
- Budget & Financial Oversight :
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are implemented effectively.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, change orders, and final project closeout documentation.
- Team Leadership :
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
