SAP DataSphere Architect / App Engineer
The Job: Client is looking for an experienced SAP DataSphere Architect with hands-on experience in leading SAP migrations to SAP S/4HANA. This position requires expertise in SAP DataSphere, ABAP for data transformation, and integration with platforms like Salesforce. The role involves designing and executing data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical acumen, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills to manage and execute complex SAP landscapes.
Skills and Experience_
- Min of 10 years of experience in SAP Basis involving database migration
- Experience in SAP Data sphere implementation projects: architecting, designing, data model, Views, Analytical Models, replication flows and transformation flows.
- Creation and maintenance of task chains, fact models, consumption models and Snapshot models.
- Good understanding of joins, cardinality, and associations.
- Manage authorization and data access control.
- Good experience in CDS Views creation in S4HANA system and real time replication.
- Data sphere Integration experience with SAP and Non-SAP system.
- Good in understanding SAP functional modules and SAP tables.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and optimize Datasphere components, including data modeling, governance, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Ensure seamless connectivity between SAP S/4HANA and Datasphere for real-time data analytics and reporting.
- Develop and manage ETL processes to streamline data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and implement KPIs and data visualization strategies.
- Provide expertise in integrating SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) with Datasphere for advanced reporting and dashboards.
- Perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance of the Datasphere environment.
- Stay updated on SAP Datasphere and S/4HANA innovations to leverage new features and technologies.
- Support all phases of implementation projects, including design, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Strategy & Planning: Develop data migration strategy, assess current data, and define goals.
- Architecture Design: Create scalable data migration architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Data Analysis & Transformation: Identify and resolve data issues, implement cleansing and enrichment strategies.
- Implementation: Manage the ETL process, select tools, and troubleshoot migration issues.
- Collaboration & Compliance: Work with internal teams, ensure compliance with security and data privacy regulations.
- Post-Migration Support: Validate data post-migration, provide training, and manage ongoing data integrations.
